Terms and Conditions
Effective [Month Day, Year]
These Terms and Conditions apply when you use this website or schedule, receive or pay for heating and air conditioning services from Hangar One Heating and Air (“we,” “us”). By using the site or booking service, you agree to these terms. A written quote, contract or invoice for your job may include additional terms; if it conflicts with this page, the signed document controls.
Website information
Articles, tips and pricing information on this site are general information about HVAC systems. They are not a diagnosis of your equipment and are not a substitute for an inspection by a licensed technician. We try to keep the site accurate and current, but we don't guarantee that every detail is complete or error-free.
Online estimates
Our online estimator gives approximate pricing based on the information you enter. An online estimate is not a binding offer. Final pricing depends on a technician confirming system sizing, ductwork, electrical, access and installation requirements at your home, and is provided to you in writing before any work begins.
Appointments
- You can book by phone or online. We offer same-day appointments and will give you an arrival window. Arrival times can be affected by weather, traffic and emergency calls; we'll contact you if we're running late.
- An adult (18 or older) who is authorized to approve work must be present for the visit. Please provide safe access to the equipment, thermostat and electrical panel, and keep pets secured.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call (972) 555-0100 as soon as you can so we can offer the time to another customer.
Diagnostic fee and quotes
Repair visits carry a [$XX] diagnostic fee, which covers the trip and the time needed to find the problem. Once we know what's wrong, we give you a written price for the repair. No repair work begins until you approve it, and you're free to decline. Written quotes are valid for [30] days unless the quote says otherwise. If we find something during the job that changes the scope or price, we'll stop and get your approval before continuing.
Payment and financing
Payment is due when the work is completed unless we agree otherwise in writing. Equipment financing, when offered, is provided by third-party lenders, is subject to credit approval and is governed by the lender's own terms. We may charge for returned payments as allowed by Texas law.
Warranties
- Repairs are covered by our [90-day] parts & labor warranty.
- New system installations include our [X-year] labor warranty.
- Equipment and parts also carry the manufacturer's warranty. Many manufacturers require you to register new equipment within a set period after installation to receive the full warranty. We'll help you with registration, but the manufacturer's terms control that coverage.
Our warranties don't cover damage caused by misuse, lack of routine maintenance, power surges, flooding, storms or other acts of nature, or repairs and alterations made by anyone other than us. Some manufacturer warranties require proof of regular maintenance, so keep your service records.
Existing conditions
Our price covers the work described in your quote. It doesn't cover conditions we couldn't reasonably see before starting, such as hidden duct damage, inadequate wiring, code deficiencies in the existing installation, or mold or asbestos. If we find one of these, we'll explain what we found and what it would take to fix it, and we won't proceed without your approval. Older equipment may need parts or refrigerant that are no longer manufactured or are only available at a higher cost.
Permits and licensing
We obtain the permits required for the work we perform and complete it to applicable codes. Air conditioning and refrigeration work in Texas is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Our TDLR ACR License number is [TACLA00000E]; you can verify it on the TDLR website.

Calls, texts and email
By giving us your phone number or email address, you agree that we may contact you about your service request, appointments, quotes, invoices and warranty, including by text message. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time. Calls may be recorded. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
Third-party tools
Online booking, the online estimator, maps and financing on this site may be provided by third parties. Those services are subject to their own terms, and we're not responsible for their availability or content. Links to other websites are provided for convenience only.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, such as lost food, lodging costs or lost income, arising from equipment failure, delays or use of this website. Our total liability for any claim related to a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Texas law that cannot be waived.
